austin bergstrom international airport exhibit

for those of you traveling in and out of austin between oct 19 and jan 26
i will be having a piece of my work on display - it is entitled "spine" - created from handmade paper and bamboo -- hope you enjoy seeing it at the airport - i have inserted a detail to pique your interest

buda fine arts fest

in october i participated in the buda fine arts fest and had a great time as well as met some fun people -- if you get a chance check out affinitymetalworks.com - really nice metal work -- i was honored to win best of show and to be asked to be featured artist for 2011, so i look forward to that-

i also was privileged to have three pieces hanging at gallery nord in san antonio in conjuction with the fasa annual fiber exhibit through nov 5th -- if you can make it there are some really wonderful pieces on display showcasing the fiber artists in san antonio and surrounding areas -- the gallery itself is a work of art - light and airy with beautiful large open spaces - i can't wait to see more exhibits there - it is located at 2009 n.w. military drive - you need to go and see how beautiful it is
