i will be doing "windows on main marketplace" in beautiful monte vista in san antonio october 24 from 10 - 5 -- if you have never been, then here is your chance -- the area is beautiful and the people some of the nicest i have met -- so there is no excuse for you not to be there -- more information is forthcoming as the date approaches-- remember -- christmas is coming up and here is your chance to buy one of a kind art for yourself and your friends --

i have been working on some new pieces for upcoming shows--so i haven't been blogging as i should --
first of all thank you to all of the people who attended the opening at la pena -- it was a wonderful success--


"oracle" will be at the austin visual artists assn. 32nd anniversary show at the dougherty arts center in austin with the reception wednesday the 9th of september -- come see all the wonderful art -- the show runs until september 28--

also upcoming i will be at the studio2gallery artfest (austin, texas on south lamar) saturday 26 of september from 10 - 5 -- a lot of wonderful artists will be there- so now is the time to start contemplating upcoming christmas gifts--
also
"organic: basic inspirations" will be opening at studio2gallery (in austin) on october 3rd-- i will be the featured artist as well as acting juror--

i have been invited to participate in the texas state university alumni show opening october 27th-- this is where i plan to unveil some of my new work -- come to the show and let me know what you think--

breaking news

it's been a while since i have updated so let me fill you in on what's happening --
first--
on august 14th, i have a solo opening at la pena gallery at 3rd and congress in austin, texas -- the show will be up from august 14th - september 1,2009
second- my piece "seeding" was accepted in the texas federation of fiber artists juried show at the houston center for contemporary craft-- the show will be up from october 3 - december 24, 2009
third - "aguazul' has been accepted in the juried exhibit "shorelines" at the rockport center for the arts in rockport, texas -- the show will run from october 14 - november 21st with with a reception on october 17th (5pm -7pm )
fourth - i will participating in an exhibit at the university of texas permian basin in odessa, texas from october 23- november 30, 2009
in addition to these dates -- i will be in smithville, texas for 1st saturday on august 1st, september 5th, and november 7th, 2009
-- the buda fine arts festival on october 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2009
--the fiber artists of san antonio holiday sale on november 14th, 2009
-- the harvest art fest in bastrop on november 27th and 28th, 2009
